Free appraisals at the Reno coin show this Friday and Saturday
Press Release - July 9, 2024
HOW MUCH ARE YOUR OLD COINS WORTH?
If you’re like many Americans, you own some old coins. And, you don’t know what you have or what they’re worth. Perhaps they were passed down from a relative or you put some away years ago and forgot about them. Well, there’s a safe and convenient way to learn what you have and determine the true value of your coins. Get free appraisals at the Reno Coin Show.
Thirty coin dealers from six western states are setting up at the J Resort on Friday and Saturday, July 19 and 20. Doors open at 10 A.M. each day. Bring your coins, show them around, learn what you have, and discover their worth. Many show dealers will offer to buy your coins but there is no obligation to sell. That’s your decision.
The three main factors affecting a coin’s value are supply, demand and condition.
Precious metals prices have increased significantly in the past year so now would be a smart time to find out the value of your coins. In the past year, the price of gold is up 23% while the price of silver is up 33%.
The Reno Coin Show has much to offer besides valuing your coins. There will be a large inventory of U.S., ancient and foreign coins, gold and silver bullion, tokens, medals, paper money, supplies and some fascinating collectibles.
The J Resort is located at 345 North Arlington Avenue in the heart of downtown Reno.
