Now Recruiting Rifle Range Safety Officer Volunteers
Are you passionate about Rifle Range safety? Do you love spending time outside with others who enjoy using the Rifle Range?
The Carson City Parks, Recreation and Open Space Department is looking for volunteers to assist with the day-to-day operations at the Carson City Rifle Range, including (but not limited to):
Weed removal, picking up shell casings, enforcing the rules and policies of the range, and answering questions/addressing concerns from range users.
This is a fun and exciting opportunity for those 18 or older, who have a National Rifle Association Range Safety Officer Certification.
Volunteer hours are flexible, and those who volunteer a minimum of 8 hours per week at the Range will receive an annual pass to the Rifle Range!
For more information or to apply, please contact the Range Coordinator at nartam@carson.org or call (775)283-7348.
