Carson City's newest high-power EV charging stations ready for use
If you’re an electric vehicle owner in Carson City or just driving through, you now have access to 180kW fast chargers, located at Carson Tahoe Quail center, 4500 South Carson Street right near the intersection of Highways 580 and 50 in south Carson City.
Surrounded by retail and restaurants, you’ll be able to plug into one of the four new high-power DCFC chargers installed and operated by EV Range (evrange.com) and obtain a full charge in as little as 20 minutes.
Since we started EV Range, our team has been dedicated to establishing our presence in the California and Lake Tahoe area, as part of our broader plan to expand nationwide. Witnessing our first fast charger going live across state lines has been a significant milestone, marking some of the first steps towards our national goals.
“We couldn’t be happier with the Carson City site going live,” said Carl Pancutt, EV Range’s CEO and Founder. “As we continue to work closely with utilities, like NV Energy, and government agencies to build innovative network tools to sustainably support the growth of e-mobility, we’re excited to see the EV Range network grow into Nevada, particularly in Carson City, which had a high need for EV charging infrastructure..”
We’re looking forward to having many firsts in different states! As drivers start to adopt electric vehicles, businesses can start to prepare for that switch and invest in a solution that will not only support their customers but also benefit their businesses.
