Western singer Almeda Bradshaw on The Brother Dan Show, May 30
CARSON CITY, NV - FOR WEEK OF May 24 – May 30, 2022
The Brother Dan Show welcomes Western musician Almeda Bradshaw, May 30
This Monday, May 30, the Bank Saloon will be CLOSED in observance of Memorial Day, so the Brother Dan Show will be ONLINE ONLY, this week only.
Singer/songwriter Almeda Bradshaw joins host Brother Dan Palmer on Monday, May 30, for an afternoon of chat and western music. This talented multi-instrumentalist (violin, cello, piano, guitar, mandolin, and banjo), has been nominated for multiple awards for her contemporary Western music, including Western Female Entertainer of the Year by the AWA, and Song and Album of the Year nominations by the WMA, among others.
Born and raised in Oregon, Almeda likes to say she had to go East to find the West, and she now makes her home in Huntley, Montana with her husband, where they train AQHA performance horses. She’ll be traveling through Carson City on her way home, following her weekend performances at Mule Days in Bishop, CA. She has been performing at cowboy gatherings throughout the western US for over two decades.
Currently planning for the release of her seventh studio project, even as she presents a series of programs as a member of Humanities Montana on the history of Women in Country Music, when she’s not travelling to perform at concerts, poetry readings, and cowboy gatherings.
While the Bank Saloon will be closed this Monday, local audiences are invited to join the studio audience again next week at the Bank Saloon, at 418 S. Carson St., and enjoy free pizza from Mangia Tutto as they enjoy the show and the craft cocktails that this local venue is known for. Music starts at 4:30pm on Mondays, and the show streams live on Facebook starting at 5:00pm on the host’s music page: Brother Dan Palmer
The Bank offers a variety of mostly-local music, including The Brother Dan Show on Mondays, plus a selection of local musical acts on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
