Golfers sought for charity tournament in Carson City
Join us on Saturday, June 10 at 9am at Eagle Valley Golf course for a golf tournament hosted by the Kiwanis Club of Sierra Nevada as a joint fundraiser for Meals on Wheels Carson City and Carson City Search and Rescue.

About Meals on Wheels Carson City: Delivering fresh meals to Carson City's homebound and frail seniors who are at risk of going hungry. Meals on Wheels Carson City delivers an average of 300 meals each day to seniors who are unable to cook for themselves, shop for groceries, and many who have no one checking in on them each day.
About Carson City Search and Rescue: Established in 1962, the Carson City Sheriff’s Search And Rescue (CCSSAR) Team operates under the direction of Sheriff Ken Furlong and has been called out to search for lost people, locate downed aircraft, secure accident/crime scenes, assist neighboring agencies, and participate in community events
