Local flying group offers kids 8-17 free plane rides at Carson City Airport this Saturday
Interested in experiencing the thrill of flight in a single engine aircraft? The Carson City EAA Chapter 403 is hosting another Young Eagles free event at the Carson City Airport on Saturday, May 14.
This event is free and is open to kids ages 8-17 years of age. On the day of the event, the kids will get a pre-flight safety briefing and then get to fly in one of a variety of single engine aircraft that are owned by our Young Eagle Pilots.
They will also get a Log Book to record their flights, a free membership to the EAA Young Eagles and an access code for free on-line Ground School. Seats are limited so sign up today. Registration is from 8 a.m. to noon.

EAA Chapter 403 will also be hosting a pancake breakfast that morning at the EAA Chapter House which is located just west of the terminal. Breakfast will be served from around 8 am to around 10 am and is $7 for adults and $5 for children under age 18. Breakfast includes all the pancakes and eggs one can eat, a helping of bacon or sausage, orange juice, coffee and bottled water. No reservation required.
