WNFC Coyotes Look to Extend Lead in Wild West

The Western Nevada FC Coyotes have a Wild West Conference match this Saturday. WNFC is set to travel to San Ramon, California to take on Dynamos FC. The match is set to kick off at 7 p.m.
Dynamos FC is currently standing in 10th place with a 2-1-4 record giving them a total of 7 points for the season. WNFC who are ranked 1st nationally and standing alone at the top of the Wild West Conference have a 6-1-0 record for a total of 19 points.
Head Coach and GM, Ian Hill, knows the importance of this week’s match with staying focused and handling business. This is what Coach Hill said: “Dynamos FC are well coached and they have some quality players. The trajectory of their season is on the rise having strung together a couple of wins in a row. It is a trap game for us meaning that we've just been ranked number one in the country. They're going to be fired up to beat the number one team in the country and we're going to have to bring our best game to prevail in this road match.”
Kieran Toland and the rest of the WNFC Coyotes of Carson City have been using the draw last week as extra motivation to learn from in order to earn the 3 points against Dynamos FC.
Here is what Toland told us: “Last weekend was a big weekend for us in terms of making mistakes and learning from them, and we hope to use all the things we learned from practice this week, in Saturdays game. It's a big game for us in terms of bouncing back from a 4-4 draw which to a lot of the boys feels like a loss. Hopefully we will respond in the correct way and show that we are the no 1 team in the country for a reason.”
Favio Torres knows the importance of what 3 points will do for the teams standing in the table. “It's another game on the road and they are always difficult. It's going to be a challenging one but with a win, we will have total control of the table and that's what we want. The team has been working hard and is ready to take on any challenge.”
The road match Saturday could be a huge deciding factor on where the Coyotes will finish up in the table this year. The opportunity is there for WNFC to continue to extend their lead in the league with a win. The Coyotes are wanting to display fast and furious football for the entire 90 minutes on Saturday night.
