Mark Twain's influence on African Americans and Society featured during festival
Michael Smith, a native Mississippian, received his Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Rust College, Holly Springs, MS. and a Master’s degree from the University of Mississippi in Educational Administration, and Supervision.
Throughout his personal and professional life Mike has received numerous awards and recognitions on a local, and state level. He has been a tireless and dedicated public servant, an advocate for the arts and humanities and an individual who build bridges to others. Mike is the founder and President of the Northern Nevada Cultural Foundation a (501c-3) organization.
