Carson City's Catmandu introduces their Cat of the Week: Max
The Whisker Wednesday contest at Catmandu went to this dapper fellow. Meet Max, a long-haired 6-year-old kitty who is always dressed to impress in his handsome black and white tuxedo. He has an adorable white half-moustache and big green eyes. This special guy has a sweet and playful disposition. Everyone falls in love with him and so will you.
Max enjoys being pet and will happily crawl into your lap for some love. He is a big cat, but that just means there is more of him to love. Max gives head bumps and has a purr motor that starts right up as soon as you give him attention.
Max needs a home without dogs. He was surrendered because his previous family had dogs that loved to chase, harass and even sometimes nip him. Needless to say, he is not a big fan of canines as a result.
He has never lived with other cats and would likely do best as the only cat. He has not been around children, but would likely do well with older and/or very respectful kids. Max is microchipped, neutered and up-to-date on his core vaccines.
If you are interested in meeting this sweet guy and possibly taking him home, please complete a pre-adoption application on our website at CatmanduCC.org/adoptions and plan to visit him this weekend at 1829 Brown Street. We are open Friday – Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
