Carson City's Catmandu introduces their Cat of the Week: Marilyn
Like her namesake, Marilyn is a gorgeous girl, and she’s beautiful on the inside too. A sweet hearted kitty, this gal is looking for love and a forever home. "Sooner than later" says Marilyn, "Meow" means, thank you very much.
Marilyn is only about a year old, a young long-haired white and black beauty who somehow ended up living on the streets in a local manufactured home park. We’re fairly certain she was someone’s beloved pet until an unknown calamity forced her onto the streets and into survival mode. She made it through our awful winter by relying on the kindness of strangers for food and shelter.
She is a super sweet girl that enjoys being petted and loved. She is very confident and social and appears to be fine with the other cats, as long as they are friendly to her. We suspect she would adjust quickly to a cat-friendly dog as well.
If you would like to meet gorgeous Marilyn or any of the other sweet kitties at Catmandu, please visit us Friday - Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 1829 Brown Street.
Catmandu is a local non-profit no-kill cat rescue, adoption center and sanctuary. We currently have over 80 cats waiting for homes. If you have room in your heart and home for one of our sweet kitties, please consider adoption, or if you would like to help by volunteering or by making a much-needed donation, please go to: https://catmanducc.org. We appreciate your helping us continue to care for Carson City's orphaned, homeless, and abandoned kitties. Meow.
