Carson City's Catmandu introduces their Cat of the Week: Sky
Are you are looking for a unique looking kitty with a great personality? Please come to Catmandu this weekend to meet Sky.
Sky is a small black short-haired girl with a cute pointy face and multiple kinks in her tail. While not a “classic beauty,” she is adorable and her unusual features make her distinctive.
A little shy with strangers and a little slow to warm up, once she knows and trusts you, Sky is an absolute love-bug. She adores being pet and will knead and purr. She definitely has the potential to be a lap cat and great companion to someone who will take the time to win her trust.
Sky would do best in a quiet home with no dogs or small children. She gets along with other cats, but is easily bullied by cats bigger and more aggressive. A patient, cat-savvy adult or senior would be ideal. This little girl is healthy, spayed and up to date on her shots.
If you would like to meet cute and sweet little Sky, visit us at 1829 Brown Street. We are open Friday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Come early to get to know the kitties.
Catmandu is a local cage-free non-profit cat sanctuary and rescue. At Catmandu we care for an average of 80 cats that would otherwise be roaming the streets of Carson City. Some cats are adoptable and waiting for forever homes. Others are sanctuary cats who are very skittish with strangers, semi-feral or medically fragile felines; they will live most if not all of their remaining years at Catmandu. All of our cats are spayed/neutered and up to date on their shots. If you would like to volunteer and/or make a donation, please visit our website at: https://catmanducc.org. We appreciate any help we receive from the community, so we can continue to care for Carson City’s orphaned, homeless and abandoned kitties. Meow means thank you!
