Donor supports Carson City Meals On Wheels, urges others in community to give
My father lives in the San Francisco Bay Area and has been in the same home for 50 years. He is 86 now and shouldn't be living at home alone but he does not want to move.
At this point it may even be more trauma than letting him get around in his house where everything is familiar. None of my siblings are near by, so we rely heavily on his local "Meals on Wheels"! The food really helps but even more important are the daily check-ins.
Our local Meals on Wheels program in Carson City feeds between 300-400 of our senior citizens. This is an important service in the community! Since the thrift store they had to close, they lost a lot of their funding.
They are in need of our support. If you have been blessed with everything that you need would you join me in helping to support our local Meals on Wheels today?
