Guitarist Chuck Dunn featured on The Brother Dan Show
This week, The Brother Dan Show, live from the Bank Saloon, welcomes special guest Chuck Dunn. Northern Nevada audiences will recognize Chuck as founding member and guitar player for The Blues Monsters.
The band has appeared at many local festival and events over the years, has been voted best local band and best blues band for seven years in a row, and has released three CDs along the way. When the band isn’t performing, Chuck plays locally as a solo and/or duo act.
Host Brother Dan Palmer has been a fixture on the local music scene for many years, and has two all-original CDs available, with a third project in the works. His past performance credits include opening for many national acts including Three Dog Night, The Tubes, Humble Pie, Donovan, Foghat, and others, while his weekly show has been streaming from Carson City for over three years.
Chuck will join host Brother Dan Palmer for an afternoon of music, stories, and fun, with the music starting at 4:30pm. The in-person audience (21 years of age and over) can enjoy fine craft cocktails and snacks from local restaurant Mangia Tutto. Online audiences can watch live at 5:00pm (with replays available on-demand) on Facebook at the host’s music page: Brother Dan Palmer. Please note that while the online show is family friendly and suitable for all ages, the live studio audience is limited to adults 21 and over.
The Bank Saloon, at 418 S. Carson St. in Carson City, is housed in a building built in 1899 and features artwork from noted Nevada artists. The venue features a rotating line-up of musical acts on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, in addition to The Brother Dan Show every Monday.
