Carson City's Alliance Jiu-Jitsu to host free kids self-defense seminar
Alliance Jiu-Jitsu, the world-renowned team that has produced some of the most successful athletes in the sport, is holding a free kids self-defense seminar in Carson City on Feb. 25 at 1pm. This seminar is open to all kids, ages 8-15, and will be taught by Alliance Black Belt Kurt Brooks.
Kurt Brooks is carrying on the Alliance tradition by providing world-class instruction and techniques to the Carson City area. The seminar is designed to teach kids the basics of self-defense and how to be aware of their surroundings.
“It’s important for kids to understand the basics of self-defense so that they can protect themselves if needed,” says Brooks. “We want to empower kids to feel safe and confident.”
