Carson City's Catmandu introduces their Cat of the Week: Kidd
Won’t you be my Valentine? Are you looking for a love to snuggle and cuddle with and to call your very own? Look no further than Kidd.
This big handsome short-haired flame point Siamese with big blue eyes and adorable freckles wants nothing more than to follow you around, wagging his tail, chatting and collecting pets and love.
Rescued as a kitten, Kidd spent his whole life in a loving home with another bachelor. Then his owner got very sick and could no longer care for Kidd.
Thus, he was brought to Catmandu to find a new loving forever home.
While Kidd tolerates other cats, he would much prefer to have all the love and attention and would be happiest as an only cat. He is a funny fellow with a great personality and will be a great addition to any home.
Cats live an average of 15-20 years. At 11 years old, Kidd is in excellent health and surely has several good remaining years to warm your heart and your home.
And, he is eligible for our Senior-2-Senior foster program. This program places senior cats with senior citizens age 55+. The cat lives with you and for all intents and purposes is your cat.
The difference is that if something happens and you are no longer able to care for your cat, it can return to Catmandu. And, if the cat develops any health issues, Catmandu provides veterinary care and homeopathy. Truly a win-win for the cat and the Senior.
If you would like to take home Kidd as your furry Valentine, come by Catmandu this weekend from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday – Sunday.
Currently Catmandu has over 80 cats waiting for homes. If you have room in your heart and home for one of our sweet kitties, please consider adoption, or if you would like to help by volunteering or by making a much-needed donation, please go to: https://catmanducc.org. We appreciate your helping us continue to care for Carson City's orphaned, homeless, and abandoned kitties. Meow.
