Carson City's Catmandu introduces their Cat of the Week: Frank
Looking for love this Valentines Day? Come to Catmandu this weekend and meet Frank!
This sweet, handsome and loving boy is looking for his very own people in a loving forever home with another cat who is willing to be his playmate and friend. Frank was rescued from a homeless encampment as a small kitten and was in foster care with another rescue for over a year before coming to Catmandu to find his heart match.
Just 1 and a half years old, Frank is at least part Abyssinian. With a beautiful short speckled tabby fur coat, he is as handsome as he is sweet. Long-legged, super intelligent, active, friendly, and full of personality, this boy will win your heart in no time.
He loves to knead while you pet him, obviously enjoying the affection. His big feet and long toes make this adorable to watch. He is a very soft-spoken kitty, with a tiny little meow. He coos, trills, squeaks and whispers sweet nothings to whoever will listen.
Frank is an active boy that loves to play and investigate. He needs an indoor home where he has room to roam and a cat tree to climb. He likes to be in the middle of everything. While he needs a busy household, he is frightened of loud noises and would not do well with small children.
He is good with dogs, but really needs to have a cat friend in the home that is young, friendly and playful. The two will have great fun together.
He is neutered and up to date on all his shots. If you are looking for a special cat, you need to come and meet Frank.
Catmandu is a local cage-free non-profit cat sanctuary and rescue. At Catmandu we care for an average of 80 cats that would otherwise be roaming the streets of Carson City. Some cats are adoptable and waiting for forever homes. Others are sanctuary cats who are very skittish with strangers, semi-feral or medically fragile felines; they will live most if not all of their remaining years at Catmandu. All of our cats are spayed/neutered and up to date on their shots. If you would like to volunteer and/or make a donation, please visit our website at: https://catmanducc.org. We appreciate any help we receive from the community, so we can continue to care for Carson City’s orphaned, homeless and abandoned kitties. Meow means thank you!
