History program to remember classic TV show 'Bonanza' this Saturday at Galena Creek Visitors Center
On Saturday, Feb. 17, 10 a.m., the Galena Creek Visitor Center presents Reflections of Bonanza.
Ride back with us to those golden days of Hollywood western yesteryear, when Ben, Adam, Hoss and Little Joe stood for honesty and decency, owning about one third of the Lake Tahoe Basin.
Using seldom seen images and extensive research, local authors and historians David and Gayle Woodruff bring the Cartwrights and their popular 1960s, social edge cutting television program back to life in an amusing and entertaining 55-minute slide show.
Admission is free and donations gladly accepted.
The Galena Creek Visitors Center is located at 18250 Mt Rose Hwy, Reno.
