Catson City's Catmandu introduces their Cat of the Week: Autumn
Good things come in small packages and Autumn, our cat of the week, proves it.
She is a small, medium/long haired black kitten a little over 6 months old. She is a bundle of fun, love and energy. Autumn is very outgoing and makes friends quickly and easily with both cats and people. She has a bold and outgoing personality.
Autumn was rescued as a tiny kitten when her mom disappeared. She was raised with other kittens in a house full of cats. A quiet sedentary household would not suit Autumn. She loves to play and cuddle with her people and cat friends. She has lots of energy and prefers another friendly young cat in the house to be her buddy and play-mate, in addition to her humans. She would do fine with well-behaved children over 6 years old.
Autumn is a teeny tiny girl who will likely remain very small, but her heart and personality are huge. She will be a wonderful addition to the lucky family that takes her home. She is scheduled to be spayed Thursday, Feb 8th and will get the last of her vaccines at that time as well as a microchip.
If you would like to meet Autumn or any of our other cats for adoption, please visit us at 1829 Brown St., Friday-Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Catmandu is a local cage-free non-profit cat sanctuary and rescue. At Catmandu we care for an average of 80 cats that would otherwise be roaming the streets of Carson City. Some cats are adoptable and waiting for forever homes. Others are sanctuary cats who are very skittish with strangers, semi-feral or medically fragile felines; they will live most if not all of their remaining years at Catmandu. All of our cats are spayed/neutered and up to date on their shots. If you would like to volunteer and/or make a donation, please visit our website at: https://catmanducc.org. We appreciate any help we receive from the community, so we can continue to care for Carson City’s orphaned, homeless and abandoned kitties. Meow means thank you!
