Tony Grady announces candidacy for Nevada Lieutenant Governor
Reno resident and Air Force veteran Tony Grady announced his candidacy to be Nevada’s next Lieutenant Governor. Appearing on Sam Shad’s Nevada Newsmakers show this week, Tony remarked that he is running because he loves Nevada and the people he’s met throughout our State.
“I think my leadership and the expertise that I learned and developed during my Air Force career give me the tools I need to be a great Lieutenant Governor.”
Tony served as an Air Force Test Pilot, B-2 Test Squadron Commander, and worked in acquisitions and program management during his 20 years in the Air Force. After the Air Force, Tony was a pilot for FedEx, where one of his duties included serving on the FedEx test team that evaluated whether or not to purchase the Airbus 380 aircraft.
“Since the main focus of the Lieutenant Governor is economic development, I have already started traveling around Nevada, meeting with business owners and community leaders to see what needs exist, to find ways to bring more businesses to Nevada, and to help determine the best places for them to build and succeed.”
