Blues guitarist Tony G on The Brother Dan Show
Local blues guitarist Tony G returns to The Brother Dan Show on January 17. Member of local band The Whiskey Preachers as well as half of the duo Phatman and Robin, Tony proved to be an audience favorite in his previous appearance on the show.
While Tony is frequently seen and heard on area stages, Brother Dan’s aim is to help the audience get to know Tony better as a person, not just for being “that guy in the band.” There’s always plenty of music for the audience to enjoy, but there’s also insights into the life of musicians, which makes for lots of fun, spontaneous, and candid moments.
The online show is family friendly and suitable for all ages, while the live studio audience is limited to adults 21 and over. Promoting the hashtag #musicheals, the show has been an island of consistent normalcy even as the pandemic has caused so much uncertainty, and draws fans from all over the US and the world.
The Bank Saloon, at 418 S. Carson St. in Carson City, has quickly become a favored gathering place for locals, with a historically significant building and its convenient location.
