Everybody can now get swine flu shots, and in some cases, free if they want. The Carson City Health Dept. will start offering them free, starting December 21st.

The weather service has issued a winter storm warning for moderate snowfall starting late Saturday morning, increasing through the evening hours and continuing off and on through Sunday evening.

State health officials say their stockpiles of Swine Flu (H1N1) shots are high enough that they will be able to offer them to everyone, regardless of health risk status, starting December 18th.

The weather services says Carson City and other valley communities could get another three inches of snow today as a winter storm rolls over the Sierra at us.

Carson City Supervisors, on a four to one vote Thursday night, decided to proceed with further negotiations with the Nugget Casino and its project team to help economically re-vitalize Carson City.
