Those questions have escalated greatly since "Pimpmaster General" Dennis Hof took over the place and broke with the unspoken Nevada brothel code to keep a low profile. On the contrary, Hof searches out publicity like a heat-seeking missile, quick to seek any venue where he can put himself and his ladies into the spotlight.

Picture of a honeybee swarm that landed in a tree in Carson City

Our mild winter has caused many feral honeybee colonies to begin swarming earlier this year.

Swarming is the method that honey bee colonies use to reproduce. A mature overwintered colony splits into two or more colonies by swarming. A new honey bee colony is formed when the mother queen leaves the old hive with roughly 60% of the worker bees. The mother queen will leave the old hive for her daughter to rule.

You've already heard. They're redefining rape. Attacking the right to choose. Belittling victims of violence. The war on women is escalating and women's reproductive rights are in question. But the assault on women does not stop there - it extends to the workplace, and is multi-dimensional with political, economic and legal aspects. It's not enough that women already don't have the same rights and privileges as men - the war on women would like to take away what rights and freedoms we currently have gained.
