Lyon County Sheriff's Office has received several reports of thefts and larcenies in the Sutro area of Dayton. These particular crimes are happening in the evening hours but could happen during any time of the day.

The unknown suspects are looking for opportunity by searching unlocked vehicles and garages. They are taking anything of value to include tools, money, and other items.

Carson High School Speech and Debate had a busy March, competing in three separate State Championships and districts, including the Sagebrush District Tournament, a national qualifier, where Reno High School hosted 16 teams, competing to earn entries to the National Speech and Debate Association Tournament this June.
