Snowfall update: Snowplows are concentrating on the westside of Carson where snowfall has been heaviest. Plows will return to eastside ASAP.

Emergency services offices like the NHP, fire protection services and National Guard are open as are State Welfare offices. State Welfare offices are open.

Schools are out, and we are staying home today. I do have to say that from our narrow neighborhood perspective, the city seems to be doing a good job of snow removal.
