Forest Service offers 'Hike With a Ranger' program at Tahoe's Heavenly Mountain Resort

The sun is out, the snow is melting and now is the time to get out and enjoy summer on your National Forest lands. The USDA Forest Service Lake Tahoe Basin Management Unit along with our partner Heavenly Mountain Resort, invites the public to Hike with a Range. Hikes will take place every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at 11 a.m. at the top of the Heavenly Gondola.

Murals and Music Festival comes to Carson City this Fall

Carson City ‘I Voted’ Sticker Design Winners Announced

On June 15th, The Carson City Board of Supervisors selected two winners for the Carson City Elections Department “I Voted” sticker design contest. The winning designs, by Laura Licari and Tyler Kerver, will be used for the three elections in 2024, starting with the February 2024 Presidential Preference Primary.
