UPDATE: Carson City Fire Department knock down chicken coop fire on Ponderosa Drive, livestock loss undetermined

UPDATE 1:29PM: A chicken coop fire was knocked down by firefighters Wednesday afternoon, according to Carson City Battalion Chief Micah Horton. It is undetermined at this time if there was any livestock lost. The fire did not encroach on any other structures.

Carson City Fire Department was called Wednesday afternoon to a report of a shed on fire in the 4500 block of Ponderosa Drive near Clearview Drive.
