In this case, locals commonly make the mistake of saying Brunswick Canyon when they are actually talking about Carson River Canyon. I make this mistake, and I see many instances of this also coming out in arrest reports and press releases from the Carson City Sheriff's Office.

A contest for the TV show.. 'This Week in Nevada Sports', A.K.A TWiNS. Who can create the best logo for the show? The winner will get 100 bucks. It must contain the state of Nevada, and the initials of the show, (must have the initials of TWiNS just like that)... the compitition ends one week from tomorrow, which is next Friday. Six full-size pickup trucks took a wild ride on a 16-foot-high steel bridge when it shook violently in a series of never-before-conducted experiments to investigate the seismic behavior of a curved bridge with vehicles in place. The 145-foot-long, 162-ton steel and concrete bridge was built atop four large, 14-foot by 14-foot, hydraulic shake tables in the University of Nevada, Reno’s world-renowned Large-Scale Structures Earthquake Engineering Laboratory.
