A Washington State man was arrested Saturday afternoon after he allegedly aided in the getaway of another man who was spotted stealing items by store security.

When a deputy responded to the 3200 block of Market Street, witnesses pointed them to a red truck moving through the parking lot, where William Gutierrez, 38, was stopped. According to the arrest report, the suspect started yelling profanities at the deputy. After being cuffed, the suspect allegedly made a sudden movement to grab something, and the deputy had to physically restrain him.

CARSON CITY – The state of Nevada has been approved for a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) competitive grant to assist in energy retrofits across the state.
The grant will help commercial buildings develop energy efficient retrofit projects, making it easier for businesses, contractors and energy suppliers to undertake these efforts.
The $765,000 grant will be augmented with a $250,000 in-kind match from NV Energy.
