RENO- A night after celebration, the Aces looked to be suffering 'post-celebration' effects. They came out against the Fresno Grizzlies on Tuesday night lethargic but the game stayed close. PLAYOFF BOUND!: Reno Aces defeat Fresno Grizzlies 5-2

RENO- Aces are one win away from punching their first ticket ever into the Pacific Coast League Playoffs. The Fresno Grizzlies come into town for a four game series. With Reno having a seven game lead over second place Tacoma and only eight games left to play, the Aces have all but wrapped up their spot in the playoffs. All it would take is an Aces win or a Tacoma loss.

Well, it happened, the Aces beat the Grizzles 5-2 on Monday night for their first ever playoff berth.

A Worthy Cause: Bowling for Boobs

2011 Reno Marathon: Aces win 7-6 in walkoff fashion over Tacoma

RENO- With the Aces having a commanding seven and a half game lead in the Pacific North Division with over the Tacoma Rainiers thanks in part from taking the first two games in this four game series against Tacoma. Reno looked to distance themselves even more from Tacoma on Monday night.

The Aces got a very quick start with the bats in the first inning behind two RBI doubles from Tony Abreu (scoring Evan Frey and Angel Berroa), and Cole Gillespie (scoring Abreu) off of Tacoma starter LHP Luke French (8-8, 6.12 ERA) for an eary 3-0 lead.

Aces/Rainiers Showdown in Reno Round 2: Aces win 4-2

RENO- After what some are saying was the best game at Aces Ballpark on Saturday night which saw some 'fireworks' with the Aces starting catcher Robby Hammock get ejected for arguing balls and strikes while in the squat behind the plate, a sellout crowd was also treated to an offensive shootout, and eventually an 8-7 Aces victory. Showdown in Reno: Aces and Rainiers fight for division/playoffs

RENO- Aces Ballpark a beautiful sight for downtown Reno was full of electricity on Saturday night as the Tacoma Rainiers rolled into town for the most important season series for the two teams. The Aces lead the Rainiers by five and a half games in the Pacific North Division as they start the four game series against the Rainiers.

The 'Voice of the Aces' Ryan Radtke started out his broadcast by saying the emotions of the two teams would be at an all-time high knowing what this series means for the both of them.
