June - Carson Valley Days Show. Show Dates: June 2 thru 28. Call to Artists on-line applications will be available March 16 and accepted through 12 noon, March 28. Works representing the Carson Valley are welcome, but not required.

Carson City area weather: Slick roads for morning commute

The heaviest snow of several inches fell along the Sierra Front around Carson City and Minden, south of Reno and the Tahoe basin from Highway 50 south to Markleeville. Other areas saw a light snowfall and water on the roadways has frozen.
