Open house for remodeled Richardson Building
Submitted by admin on Fri, 03/16/2012 - 9:56amOne block from the State Library and Archives in the heart of Carson City’s downtown government sector, the landmark building at 504 E. Musser Street has been renovated and beautifully transformed as the Richardson Building.
An open house is scheduled Friday, March 30 from 4pm to 8pm to celebrate the unveiling of this 15,120 square foot, 3-story building.
Owner Mike Richardson stated “This very attractive building has great access to downtown and we’re very excited to show it off to the public.”
Carson City shifts open space program focus from buying to managing lands

After the city's buying spree of hundreds of acres of open space lands in recent years, Open Space Manager Juan Guzman said they are now shifting to better managing those lands.

The all-day meeting called “Budget Kickoff” was intended to provide instructions to state administrators on how to begin preparing their spending plans for the new two-year budget that will take effect on July 1, 2013.
