Carson City's Catmandu introduces their Cats of the Week: Arnie and Wink
Double the love! Double the fun! This week’s cat of the week is not one, but two sweet short-haired black brothers who are looking for a new home together.
Arnie and Wink are just a year and a half old. Although they are brothers and bonded, they have very different personalities. Arnie is smaller than Wink, but is the bolder and more adventurous of the 2 here at Catmandu. He comes out asking for pets and play as soon as someone walks into his vicinity. He is also a talker who will tell you what he wants, loudly, until you pay attention to him.
Wink, though bigger than his brother and was the brave one in his previous foster home, tends to hang out in the hidey-hole in his room and only come out if you coax him a bit. He loves pets and also likes to play once you convince him it is safe to come out. These kitties love to play with them with wand toys. They will entertain you with their playful antics.
Neutered, microchipped and up-to-date on all their vaccines all they need is their new family to come and take them home. They get along with other cats and cat-friendly dogs. They would do best in a moderately quiet home with no small children. In a home of their own with their forever family, I believe this pair will blossom into truly fabulous cats.
If you are interested in meeting them, please complete a pre-adoption application on our website at CatmanduCC.org/adoptions and plan to visit this weekend at 1829 Brown Street. We are open Friday – Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
