Meet Tali, Catmandu's Cat of the Week
The sweet little girl doing a turtle imitation under her cat bed is hoping her new family will come and adopt her soon.
After living a very quiet life with a senior lady, Tali is a little frightened by the activity, people and cats at Catmandu. Just 4 years old, Tali became an orphan when her person died.
She was taken in by a rescue in Winnemucca, but with little chance of adoption in such a small town she came to the “big city” in hopes of finding a new home.
With just a little encouragement, this beautiful short-haired calico tabby girl will “come out of her shell” for love. She likes to be held and pet and has a big purr motor that will start to rumble once you begin petting her. She would make a wonderful addition to any quiet home.
Tali can live with other friendly cats. She watches them and occasionally engages in play. She is not a fan of dogs or small children, preferring a quieter environment. She is an indoor only cat.
Tali is spayed and up-to-date on her vaccines. All she needs is a second chance for a loving home.
If you are interested in meeting this special girl, please complete a pre-adoption application on our website at CatmanduCC.org/adoptions and plan to visit her this weekend. We are located at 1829 Brown Street and we are open Friday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Catmandu is a cage-free cat sanctuary and rescue that is celebrating a decade of lifesaving in 2024. Since March of 2014, more than 2700 cats have passed through our doors and into a better life. Many, many other cats and kittens have been helped over the years through our various programs and efforts.
Catmandu is a non-profit organization that receives no government funding or assistance from national organizations. We rely on donations and the generosity of the community to continue our lifesaving efforts. If you are interested in donating or volunteering, please visit our website at CatmanduCC.org.
