The Rotary Club of Carson City helped brighten the holidays for 20 homebound senior citizens this week. The Carson City Senior Center identified the seniors in need and provided the Rotarians with their wish lists.

Hanifin's Antiques has recently donated $1000.00 to the Carson City Boys and Girls Club. Hanifin's Antiques will be closing after more than 25 years in Carson City.

Mooshy is an incredibly mellow and sweet little long-haired boy who only wants to love and be loved. If you start petting him, he will turn into a bowl of mush. The grounds at the Nevada Capitol Building in Carson City illuminate with Christmas decorations. The lights were switched on Dec. 1 at the Silver and Snowflakes Festival of Lights and will remain on through the holidays.

Amelia is an 8-month-old pup. She came in needing medical attention to her eyelids. Her lower eyelids rolled inward, which our amazing veterinarian was able to fix. She is still healing but is doing great! She is looking for a home to help her heal and learn good manners and cool tricks.
