Youth Theatre Carson City's production of 'The Wizard of Oz' begins this weekend
Youth Theatre Carson City is thrilled to announce our upcoming production of The Wizard of Oz, Youth Edition, playing eight performances weekends July 21-30, 2023 in the Bob Boldrick Theatre at the Carson City Community Center.
We’re off to see the Wizard! Come with us down the yellow brick road in this delightful stage adaptation of L. Frank Baum’s beloved tale, featuring the iconic musical score from the MGM film. The timeless tale, in which young Dorothy Gale travels from Kansas over the rainbow to the magical Land of Oz, continues to thrill audiences worldwide.
The Wizard of Oz features the talents of over 70 local youth grades K-12, both onstage and off. Leading the cast are Brooklyn Remington and Michelle Cho as Dorothy, Jackson Hendee as The Scarecrow, Parker Schmid as the Tinman, Benjamin Achoka as the Cowardly Lion, and Quinn Sweet as Toto.
Also featured are Lilliahna McColl as Glinda the Good Witch, Brookelyn McGee as The Wicked Witch of the West, and a host of colorful characters bringing this beloved story to life.

Performances of The Wizard of Oz will run July 21, 22, 28, and 29 at 7pm and July 22, 23, 29 and 30 at 2pm in the Bob Boldrick Theatre at the Carson City Community Center located at 851 E. William Street in Carson City.
