Wildcats play well, still drop pair against Coyotes
It won't show up in the box score or the Scenic West Athletic Conference standings, however, the Western Nevada College softball team possibly turned in its best performance of the season on Friday despite losing both ends of a doubleheader against College of Southern Nevada.
CSN (24-13, 28-15) scored twice in the fifth inning then added another run in the sixth to rally for a 5-3 victory in the opener, then came back to win game two 6-2 on a sunny afternoon at Edmonds Sports Complex.
