WNC baseball preview 3/16
Before the season began, Western Nevada College baseball coach D.J. Whittemore said that he believed that the Scenic West Athletic Conference was the most talented it's been since WNC joined the league.
So far it's hard to argue with that evalution. And the team that has seen the most talent up close has been College of Southern Idaho.
CSI (12-11) began SWAC play by losing three-of-four at home against College of Southern Nevada in Twin Falls. Then CSI could manage just one run in being swept at home by Salt Lake Community College which made a statement by beating CSI 1-0 in extra innings, 8-0 and 2-1. One of the games was rained out.
