Find and get Unidentified Free Objects (UFOs) and other spacy swag on Nevada’s Extraterrestrial Highway and in surrounding communities of Tonopah, Caliente and Pioche.

Oakland A’s Triple-A club headed to Las Vegas next season

That’s no UFO, it’s the Oakland A’s top minor league team that will land in the Reno Aces’ division next season.

Oakland’s Triple-A squad is leaving Tennessee after four seasons. It will drop one clever name – Nashville Sounds – for another: Las Vegas 51s. Baseball fans in Reno will now have more opportunities to see the top minor league teams of the two closest big league teams, Oakland and San Francisco.

Bright object seen moving across Northern Nevada sky

Facebook newsgroup members of Dayton Peeps and the Minden/Gardnerville Community blog and MyNews4.com have received several reports of a large, bright object moving across the sky Tuesday evening after 6 p.m.

RSVP hosts the carnival at Mills Park to raise money for their senior outreach programs, and the rides, games, and funnel cakes will around until Sunday evening. Take a look at the skies while you’re atop the Ferris Wheel. Today is World UFO Day. Nevada has a reputation for its many UFO sightings, so if the clouds aren’t in the way, you may just see some strange lights. July 2nd was chosen because of the Roswell Incident in 1947.
