Submitted by Carson Now Reader on Tue, 06/13/2023 - 2:19pmUPDATE: Carson City’s Computer Corps Technology Learning Center is hosting opportunity workshops this summer for volunteers at their location, 4630 US Highway 50 E.
Individuals anywhere from 9 to 90 are invited to attend this program, where they’ll be able to learn about 26 different opportunities for gaining life skills and helping others.
All volunteers will earn a computer after 48 hours of volunteering, and snacks and refreshments will be served. Free lunch Monday through Saturday at noon.

Enjoy a beautiful day at the lake with your friends, and golf for a great cause! This is our largest fundraiser event of the year, and all proceeds go directly towards keeping our programs and facilities open for our community.

Chamber Orchestra Students returned from their successful regional music festival in San Francisco, several CHS students enjoyed job shadowing with Nevada Legislators, and May 21 offered students access to its job and career fair throughout the day.
