At this moment, it seems that the majority of the Carson City Board of Supervisors intend to exercise their right as our elected representatives to approve an ordinance permitting the sale of recreational pot at the City’s two existing medical marijuana dispensaries as a defense, ironically, against a long litany of adverse impacts outlined in the draft Business Impact Statement released on July 7th.

Carson City arrests: Man jailed for two counts suspicion of sexual assault of child

The District Attorney’s Office cites Nevada Revised Statutes 171.083 and NRS 171.085 in its prosecution of the case, which can be found here.

A 23-year-old man was booked into jail Wednesday on two felony counts suspicion of sexual assault of a child under the age of 14, a Carson City sheriff’s deputy said.
