Carson City arrests: Deputies make arrests for warrants, burglary tool and indecent exposure
A 42-year-old man was arrested early Wednesday for a felony failure to appear warrant, a misdemeanor contempt of court warrant and gross misdemeanor suspicion of possession of a burglary tool, according to a Carson City Sheriff's Office booking report.
Mark Trinidad Cuellar was arrested at 1:58 a.m. in the area of North Roop and East King Street. According to the booking report, a deputy noticed a vehicle with a left brake light out. The deputy followed the vehicle and initiated a traffic stop in the area of Roop and King streets.
The deputy made contact with the driver and passenger. The driver provided their identification but the passenger said he didn't have one. The passenger, Cuellar, was covering his face with a face mask and was holding onto a backpack, the arrest report states. The officer told him to put the backpack in the back seat, in which he did. The officer asked for his name, in which he provided, the report continued.
Carson City Sheriff's Office dispatch informed the deputy that Cuellar had two warrants for his arrest, a felony warrant with a bail amount of $25,000 cash only and a misdemeanor $3,000 cash only bail amount. He was taken into custody. Found inside the backpack belonging to Cuellar was a picklock, a tool commonly used for the commission of burglaries, the arrest report states. He was also booked for being in possession of a burglary tool. Bail: $30,500.

— A 53-year-old man was arrested late Tuesday for suspicion of indecent exposure, a gross misdemeanor offense, according to a Carson City Sheriff's Office booking report.
According to the booking report, the man allegedly urinated on the side of a building and set a bag with his belongings on fire in the 100 block of East John Street.
A witness identified the man urinating on the office building, then igniting a bag and walking away. The man was read his Miranda warning and declined to speak. He consented to a preliminary breath test with a result of .000, the arrest report states. The witness completed a citizens arrest form. Bail: $2,500.
