Carson City emergency crews called to crash involving pedestrian
Carson City Fire Department and sheriff's deputies responded Wednesday night to a vehicle crash involving a pedestrian near the intersection of North Carson Street and College Parkway.
The crash was called into dispatch at around 8:35 p.m.
Due to weather conditions Care Flight was unavailable to transport the patient. The injured pedestrian was taken by ground ambulance to the trauma ward at Renown Medical Center in Reno. Their condition is unknown at this time.

Elsewhere, there were two vehicle crashes in Washoe Valley on Wednesday evening. The first crash was reported at 7:46 p.m. on I-580 south of Bowers Mansion and the second at 8:11 p.m. 1 mile south of Bowers Mansion. Traffic on I-580 near Bowers was reportedly slow moving. Motorists can expect delays.
CORRECTION ON DEC. 20: The driver in the crash on North Carson Street at College Parkway did not leave the scene as was previously reported.
