Deputies arrived and noticed a vehicle with its lights and engine running outside the residence. A deputy contacted the passenger of the vehicle who identified himself, and who was later determined to be the suspect.

The officer asked where he lived and the man stated at the Camille address. The deputy asked him why law enforcement was called to his residence. The suspect stated he didn’t know, the arrest report states. The deputy ran through man’s name through Carson City Dispatch, which advised he had priors for elder abuse and battery.

The deputy went to the door of the Camille address and knocked. A female, age 90, answered the door and was in a wheel chair. The deputy noticed the woman had bruising around her left eye and the top of her left wrist. She appeared disheveled. The officer asked what happened.

The woman told the deputy her son drank whiskey and beer, the report states. The woman stated her son was cleaning the garage and asked her a question about an item he previously broke. The mother told her son he broke it. When she told him she said he became upset.

She told the deputy he grabbed her by the hair, pulled her head up and slapped her face and then grabbed her left arm. The deputy’s report stated the woman lifted up her left pant leg and showed the deputy another bruise where she said the man kicked her.

The deputy exited the residence to speak with the man. He told the deputy he got into an argument with his mother and it was a common occurrence because they often disagree with one another.
