Carson City sheriff's deputies make warrant-related arrests
A 38-year-old woman was arrested Tuesday, 6:32 p.m. in the 2500 block of North Carson Street for misdemeanor warrants, fictitious registration and driving on a suspended license, a Carson City sheriff's deputy report states.
According to the arrest report, a deputy made a traffic stop on a SUV with a 2018 registration sticker. A registration check done on the vehicle, which returned suspended on another vehicle.
The deputy made contact with the driver and explained the reason for the stop. The woman advised she did not have a valid license. She provided the deputy her name, birthdate and other information that was run through dispatch with a return for misdemeanor warrants for her arrest. Bail amount listed: $$2,749.
— A 29-year-old inmate at Carson City Jail was booked Tuesday, 4:12 p.m. on an unrelated matter, a domestic battery warrant, issued earlier that day. Bail: $3,000.
