Presidential candidate Bernie Sanders to make campaign stop in Carson City on Monday
The race for the Democratic nomination for president continues to drive candidates to Nevada. Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders will make a campaign stop Monday in Carson City for a town hall meeting at the Stewart Community Center.
The Stewart Community Center is located at 465 Clear Creek Avenue in Carson City. The Dec. 9 meeting is at noon, is free and open to the public. Doors open at 11 a.m. RSVP is recommended but tickets are not required. Go here for more information. Entrance is provided on a first come, first served basis. Parking is limited; attendees are encouraged to walk, bike, or carpool.
At 5:30 p.m. Sanders will be at the Reno-Sparks Convention Center at 4590 S Virginia St. You can RSVP here. Tickets not required.
