Carson City area gaming revenue climbs 14 percent in October, statewide up 48 percent
Casinos in Carson City and Carson Valley, including those in Minden, Gardnerville and other areas of Douglas County with the exception of Stateline at Lake Tahoe, saw October gaming revenue at $11,507,367. In October 2020 it was $10,065,179.
Statewide, Nevada’s nonrestricted gaming licensees reported a total “gaming win” of $1,221,410,318 for the month of October 2021. This amounts to a 48.54 percent increase compared to October 2020, when licensees reported a gaming win of $822,271,869.
Casinos at south shore, Stateline Lake Tahoe, however, saw a decrease in October of 25.79 percent, taking in gaming revenue of $16,045,123 for the month. Meanwhile casinos in Reno, Sparks and North Lake Tahoe areas of Washoe County all saw gaming revenue increases for the month as did Elko County in Northern Nevada and Clark County in Southern Nevada.
