September gaming revenue up slightly in Carson City area, soars 36 percent at south shore Tahoe
Casinos in Carson City, Minden, Gardnerville and other areas of Douglas County with the exception of Stateline saw gaming revenue, also called "gaming win" at 0.83 percent in September, or $9,871,060.
Meanwhile, south shore Lake Tahoe casinos saw a significant bounce, 36.32 percent or $24,796,199 in gaming win, outperforming all other areas of the state.
Casinos in Reno, Sparks and other areas of northern Nevada also had positive gaming wins for the month, with Reno at 3.09 percent, Sparks at 7.07 percent and Washoe County at 3.39 percent.
Statewide, Nevada’s nonrestricted gaming licensees reported a total “gaming win” of $821,132,375 for the month of September 2020, a 22.38 percent decrease compared to September 2019, when licensees reported a gaming win of $1,057,935,421.
