Carson City School Board meeting to discuss committees, policy changes, health insurance and more
The next Carson City School District School Board meeting will take place Tuesday, Oct. 26 beginning at 7 p.m. at the Robert ‘Bob’ Crowell Board Room within the Carson City Community Center.
Items up for discussion at the school board include Family Life Committee members, changes to CCSD policy, and more.
A discussion and possible action will be held regarding the approval of recommendations of the Benefits Committee regarding group health care insurance plan designs and renewal of coverage for the calendar year through Dec. 31, 2022.
An annual report will be given from the Carson City District Family Life Committee for the 2020-2021 school year.
A discussion and possible action will be held to approve the selection of Family Life Committee members to serve three terms, October 2021 to October 2024 in the following categories: religious representative and teacher representative.
A discussion and possible action will be held to approve proposed changes to the CCSD policy 805, Emergency Operations of Schools on second reading.
A discussion and possible action will be held to cancel the Dec. 28, 2021 school board meeting.
