Nevada governor to provide updates Monday on the State’s COVID-19 vaccine plan
Nevada Gov. Steve Sisolak will hold a press conference Monday at 3 p.m. to provide an update on Nevada’s COVID-19 response, including the State’s COVID-19 vaccine plan.
The governor will be joined by Candice McDaniel, Health Bureau Chief, Bureau of Child, Family, and Community Wellness, Division of Public and Behavioral Health, and Shannon Bennett, Immunization Program Manager, Division of Public and Behavioral Health.
In a news conference last week, Sisolak noted the plan was forthcoming.
“I am proud of the team that has worked diligently with public and private sector partners to complete a Nevada-specific plan to distribute the COVID vaccine as soon as an effective one becomes available,” he said. “The State has made great strides in slowing the spread of the virus through mitigation measures, but it is vital we have a plan and a process in place when the time comes.”
The press conference will be held inside Room 2149 of the Nevada State Legislature in Carson City and streamed online here.
