Chase opens first Carson City bank branch Tuesday
Chase will open its first Carson City branch bank Tuesday on South Carson Street and Eagle Station as part of its northern Nevada expansion, making it the 10th location in the region.
The new full-service branch, located at 3883 S. Carson Street, features modern design elements intended to offer an "open and collaborative, comfortable, inviting environment with seamless customer experience. They’ll also be much more energy efficient, reducing energy consumption by 15 percent and lighting-related consumption by 50 percent," according to a company news release.
They branch also features Chase’s latest digital banking technology, including deposit-friendly ATMs that dispense cash in multiple denominations.
The branch will be open Mondays through Fridays from 9-5 and Saturdays from 9-1. The branch phone number is 775-515-1676.
Chase has also recently opened branches in Reno, Sparks, Incline Village and Gardnerville, in addition to Las Vegas.
According to the news release, the branches are staffed with Chase Private Client teams who "provide premium banking services, personalized attention and access to the expertise and investment capabilities of J.P. Morgan to help families reach their most important goals, plus personal bankers. Customers may also meet with financial and home lending advisors and business banking relationship managers."
The news release also touted its mobile app and website, which "also give customers the option to open a new checking or savings account with a click of a button."
The news release says to keep employees and customers safe, the Carson City branch features teller partition glass, alcohol-based hand sanitizer at main entrances, transaction lines and reception areas and a regular cleaning protocol to help reduce the spread of germs and viruses.
“Our Chase team couldn't be happier to open in our state capitol of Carson City,” said Branch Manager Matthew Costanzo in the news release. “We are looking forward to getting to know our local community and businesses. We can’t wait for the opportunity to showcase our world-class customer service and earn your business.”
Jayme Miller, Chase’s market director who oversees the branches in northern Nevada, says the response has been tremendous from customers who have been anxious to see the firm add locations in the region.
“Nevada is going through a lot of growth and many customers banked with us at other locations before they moved here,” Miller said. “They’re eager to experience Chase’s customer service again.”
Chase has almost 60 branches in Nevada, where it has been growing its presence since the 2008 acquisition of Washington Mutual. The Carson City location is on the same property where International House of Pancakes stood.
The firm says in its news release that it serves hundreds of thousands of consumers and local businesses in the region, including clients through its investment, commercial and private bank. In Nevada, Chase currently serves 800,000 consumer customers and 70,000 large and small businesses.
